Re-learning innocence
Here I am, here I am!! After a long time-off, feels good to be back. I see the site has been updated, hope I've not missed much.
Well, I now have the pleasure of seeing two kids growing up, two at different stages of their life. It's a privilege indeed! To be watching every moment of their lives, growing with them. Dunno how long I get this opportunity, will enjoy it as long as it lasts (planning to get back to being a full-time working mom).
Watching them sure amazes me.. moments of 'truth-dawning' is uncountable. Babies know so much more than we ever give them credit for. We as adults have a lot to learn from them. The innocence and intelligence is surprising (how very self-assuming of us)! Living-in-the-moment is something I have heard a lot about, but I get to see it first-hand (or is it second??) here. Laughing and crying without any inhibitions or memory is a gift we lost on our way. Sad! These are some precious moments that I am having a chance to re-visit and hopefully I do not forget that there are many things that I have lost/forgotten/missed in my journey to adulthood. Those lively eyes that sparkle with a smile will sure remind me of it.
